Meredith Morris was born in Sudbury. She visited Manitoulin Island as a little girl with her beloved Aunt and Uncle Donati who taught her the joys of the great outdoors by blueberry picking and smelt fishing. Meredith graduated from the Canadian Automotive Institute and Northwood University with a degree in Automotive Marketing and Business Administration. She owned and operated a successful Hyundai dealership in Sudbury for almost twenty years. During this time she oversaw Sudbury Hyundai through two different renovations/expansions. Meredith served as chairperson for the Hyundai Auto Canada Dealer council for many years. She was the first woman to sit on The Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council board of directors and was the first female chair of the board. Meredith's love of Manitoulin Island brought her back here permanently 5 years when she sold Sudbury Hyundai and fell in love with an "islander", Steve Rolston. Meredith, a minority partner at J.A. Rolston Limited, applies her extensive experience in marketing to all advertising at Rolston Realty. She is the life of the party. Her “joie de vivre" is absolutely infectious. She unwinds by boating, skiing, and exploring all things in the great outdoors. Meredith puts her heart and soul into everything she does. As Mae West said "You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough".
